Dream-Catchers teach spirit wisdoms of the Seventh Fire

Dream-Catchers teach the wisdoms of the Seventh Fire, an Ojibwe Prophecy, that is being fulfilled at this moment. The Light-skinned Race is being shown the result of the Way of the Mind and the possibilities that reside in the Path of the Spirit. Real Dream-Catchers point the way.

REAL Dream Catchers have a deep tradition behind them and that includes their wisdom teachings

From loop #10 create the same self-locking loop around the middle of the first line segment (between points #1 and #2-- the point of origin and your first loop.)  You will now be looping around the mid-points of the line segments.

You must keep the loops from sliding by pinching the last loop woven with the thumb and forefinger of one hand while the other hand weaves the next loop.  You can use the middle and ring fingers to help pass the shuttle back up to the weaving hand to improve efficiency and speed.

Only use enough tension to create straight lines.  Too much tension will warp or break the dream catcher and too little will make a sloppy, floppy weave.  As you shift your pinch from the previous loop to the newly created loop it is very important to temporarily pinch the sinew onto the twig with your weaving hand so that the tension can hold the weaving in place.

You will be creating a spiral of weaving as you create a self-locking loop around each segment in turn.  When the opening is about the size of a DIME, and you are one or two loops away from the bottom of the opening (top is where the twig ends are tied together) you can unwind about 18 inches of thread from the shuttle and cut off the shuttle.  (You will use the remainder on the shuttle to tie feathers and make a hanger.)

Roll the cut tip of the sinew between your fingers to make it small enough to pass through the hole in one of the stones.  Thread a stone of your choice into the weaving and continue weaving.  As you return to this segment with the gemstone, weave through it as you have all others.

Weave one or two more loops and end the weaving by tying around the nearest intersection--down through the next triangle and up through the triangle last looped.  Leave a nickel-sized loop on side of the weaving nearest to you.

Pass the sinew around the edge of this loop and make a second loop "through the back door."  Do not pull the second loop through yet.   Leave it lying loosely on top of the weaving.  Pull the first loop closed. Lightly pinch thumb and forefinger over this loop and pull the second loop through the first.  DO NOT PULL HARD or you might dislodge your weaving and create an ugly gap.  Leave the tail in place.  You will tie a feather set to the tail later.

From the shuttle, cut about 18 inches of sinew and tie a loose overhand knot six inches from one end.  Lay this piece nearby.

Hold two or more feathers back-to-back so the tips flare forming a graceful upside down V.  Smaller feathers that curve the most can be laid in against the longer feathers at the center.  Holding the feathers about ˝" from the quill tips, lay the looped sinew over the tips and tighten.

Now form a loop using the short tail of thread and lay the loop up past the quill tips about 1" and pinch the tips and the loop between the fingers of the other hand

Wrap the longer tail around the feather tips about 5 times..

With the other hand, hold the feathers at the point where they are tied and continue the spiral wrap toward the quill tips.

When you have wrapped the tips you will need to tie a half-hitch around the tip to keep it from unravelling.  Make a baggy loop around the tip and pass through this loop.  As you tighten this half-hitch radially, pull up and down on the sinew as though it were a lever attached to an axle.  This breaks the knot free of friction that prevents the knot from closing.

Hold the wrapped area of the feather set between your thumb and forefinger and spin back and forth. This pastes the feather fluff into the beeswax coating of the sinew and hides its presence.

Thread the tail of your dream catcher through the feather loop and tie an overhand knot through the loop.  Adjust the distance between feather set and dream catcher by pulling this knot close to the bottom of the ring. Bring the top of the feather set  almost to the wood ring of the dream catcher so that you don't have a lot of string to look at.

Make the loop disappear by pulling on the tail of the loop that emerges from the bottom of the wrap. You can add stones, shells, fetishes, etc. to the three tails that dangle from the feather set.  Stones can be held in place either by tying a knot around the stone.  Cut off excess sinew  leaving about 1/4" remaining.

Cut another 18" piece of sinew from your shuttle.  Holding it at one end use your other hand to hold about 3" below and bend the top down to form a loop.  Hold the two pieces where they come together.  Use your other hand to spin and stick together the doubled sinew.  Tie this into an overhand knot by making a loop of the doubled sinew and passing the doubled end through it.

Pull apart the two legs of the loop to move the knot to make a loop about 1/2" in size, and then tie the two legs together to keep the knot from moving further.  Cut off the excess sinew leaving about 1/8". That just keeps the knot from unraveling.

Clamping your dream catcher between your knees as at the beginning, tie a half-hitch around the knot that holds the twig ends, and then tie a knot on top of it.

Holding your dreamcatcher firmly, pull up on the hanger to pull the knot tight.  Cut off the excess sinew leaving about 1/4" remaining.

Congratulations, you have just created your beautiful Power of the Circle dream catcher!  Before you hang it above your bed you might want to perform a traditional ceremony of purification with sage, sweet-grass, and tobacco.

Dreamkeeper,
my eyes wish to See

behind the face of me.
My ears wish to Hear
the song of my beginning.
Show me hidden worlds
behind, beyond, within..
I am more than I seem--
I AM the dreamer of dreams.

However you've spelled Dream Catcher, these REAL Dream Catchers are natural magic from Creator Direct (Manidoog).

This is a crazy world. What can be done? Amazingly, we have been mislead. We have been taught that we can control government by voting. The founder of the Rothschild dynasty, Mayer Amschel Bauer, told the secret of controlling the government of a nation over 200 years ago. He said, "Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes its laws." Get the picture? Your freedom hinges first on the nation's banks and money system. That's why we advocate using the Liberty Dollar, to change the monetary and banking system. Freedom is connected with Debt Elimination for each individual. Not only does this end personal debt, it places the people first in line as creditors to the National Debt ahead of the banks. They don't wish for you to know this. It has to do with recognizing WHO you really are in A New Beginning: A Practical Course in Miracles. You CAN take back your power and stop volunteering to pay taxes to the collection agency for the BEAST. You can take back that which is yours, always has been yours and use it to pay off your debts. And you can send others to these pages to discover what you are discovering.
